  1. Articles and ‘Ask an Expert’ submissions must follow house style and word count as we determine from time to time. Usually word count is between 400 and 900 words. Content must be easy to understand and structured with paragraphs, helpful headings and subheadings.
  2. Content is to be written for a human resources qualified audience, business owners and decision-makers.
  3. All content is commissioned editorial. You must not upload articles onto the website without first obtaining our agreement.
  4. It is your responsibility to check your user content before it is submitted for publication to ensure it is accurate and does not contain typos or spelling mistakes.
  5. We reserve the right to reject content that does not meet our high standards, house style and word count requirements.
  6. You must not use this website in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful.
  7. You must not upload software or material or create links to any spyware, computer virus. Trojan horse or malicious software.
  8. You must not conduct any systematic or automated data collection activities on or in relation to this website without our written permission.
  9. Your user content must not be illegal or unlawful or defamatory or breach copyright.
  10. You must use your best endeavours to ensure your user content is accurate.
  11. EmploymentSolicitor.com reserves the right to vary, reject, delete or remove content published on or submitted to EmploymentSolicitor.com.
  12. You must keep any username and password we provide you safe and confidential.
  13. You agree that any articles or comment you provide for publication on the website shall be original content and you shall not publish such articles or comment elsewhere unless agreed by us in writing.
  14. You grant to EmploymentSolicitor.com a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and distribute your user content in any existing or future media.  You also grant to EmploymentSolicitor.com the right to sub-license these rights, and the right to bring an action for infringement of these rights.

By creating a profile and submitting content you hereby confirm on behalf of the law firm you work for, whether as partner, employee, consultant or otherwise (‘your firm’) that your firm and you shall indemnify EmploymentSolicitor.com and undertake to keep us indemnified against any losses, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses (including without limitation legal expenses incurred or suffered by us arising out of any breach by you of any provision of these terms and conditions.
  16. EmploymentSolicitor.com may transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with its rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions without notifying you or obtaining your consent.
  17. We reserve the right to suspend or delete your account at any time.
  18. These terms will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  19. The terms ‘EmploymentSolicitor.com’, ‘we’ and ‘us’ in these terms and conditions shall mean Marchmouse Media Limited.
  20. The term ‘you’ shall mean the individual solicitor that creates a profile.
  21. The term ‘your user content’ means any content you or your agent provides for (or uploads onto) the Website (including but not limited to your profile bio and links, videos, audio, articles and comment).
  22. The term ‘website’ shall mean the domain ’employmentsolicitor.com’.
  23. These terms and conditions represent the entire agreement between us (and supersede all prior agreements) in relation to your user content.
